What data we process and why

• Kitchen calculator: the measurements and options you choose. Without your contact details, the estimate does not identify you. If you save it, we keep it with a reference and a private link so you can retrieve it. Even if you do not save or send it, we record anonymously (no IP address, no cookies and nothing that identifies you) the configurations you calculate, the step you reach and where you came from (for example, an ad), to improve the calculator and learn which kitchens people are interested in.
• Enquiries (home page, Contact and Professionals): name, email or phone, postcode, your message and any files you attach; for professional enquiries, also your company, speciality and area. We use them to reply and prepare your proposal.
• 3D design order: the details above, your kitchen configuration and the payment details. Payments are processed by Stripe: we never see or store your card details.
• Marketing communications: only if you tick the corresponding box. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
• Analytics: website usage statistics with Google Analytics, only if you accept them in the cookie notice (see the cookie policy). We never send Google your name, email, phone number or the content of your messages.
• Where your visit came from and ad measurement: if you accept analytics, we store with your enquiry where you came from (campaign, search engine or link) and, if you also allow ad measurement, the identifier of the click on our Google ad. It tells us which channels bring us customers; we do not use it for personalised advertising.

Legal basis

• Handling your enquiry or preparing your proposal: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Design order and payment: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with legal, accounting and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Marketing communications and analytics: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and estimates with contact details: for as long as the relationship lasts and up to 12 months after the last contact if you do not place an order. Contract and payment data: for the periods required by law (for example, six years for accounting records). After that we delete or anonymise it.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. It is only shared with the service providers we need to run the service, under a data processing agreement:

• Clouding.io (website and database hosting on servers located in the European Union).
• Stripe (payment processing).
• Resend (sending confirmation emails and notifications).
• Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement, only with your consent).
• If you ask us for a complete renovation, the Obrescat building team receives the data needed to prepare that part of the project.

International transfers

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When they do, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, object to its processing, request its restriction or portability and withdraw your consent by writing to hola@kavela.es. If you feel we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
